Classes are a unique opportunity to discover the essence and secrets of Italian traditional homemade specialities; an exclusive occasion to learn about Positano local gastronomy, its ingredients and origins, and to cook them. Learn about cooking at Villa Cocles, the restored XXVII hundred century convent in Positano.
My half-day classes are highly participative. You will learn how to cook Mediterranean dishes that have travelled the world. We will cook together amongst scents, flavours and good wine; we will unveil the secrets of traditional cuisine while you enjoy a delicious meal on the breezy terrace of Villa Cocles. Back home, you will be able to impress your guests with new recipes!
I strongly believe in the value of seasonality, that's why you will be able to cook different dishes depending on the period of your visit to Positano.
I really want you to enjoy your time with me to the fullest, so I will adapt my menu to any food intolerances and religious preferences, with previous notification.
Cooking class will thus include:
Cooking activity in groups
Seasonal and local ingredients
Lunch accompanied with Campania region wine: Aglianico -red- or Falanghina -white-
Demonstration of Italian traditional recipes
Morning class starts at 10:00 am.
Afternoon class starts at 5pm.
Total lesson time (including menu planning, food preparation, and lunch on Villa Cocles terrace) is approximately 4 and a half hours.
Friends or family members, who are not cooking, can join for lunch or dinner.
The recipes can easily be recreated at home.

Villa Cocles is my home and I am inviting you to experience the Mediterranean Cuisine sitting around a table meant to be shared among special people. Exactly what happens when I invite my friends to share my creations.
My menu, either fish, meat or vegetarian is always based on the Sfusato Lemon from the Amalfi Coast.
These very large lemons have a nipple and are the "star" in all my productions as jam, jelly, confit, candie.
